[Remote] Payroll Accountant

They are seeking an reputed company Payroll Accountant to manage and improve their payroll function, ensuring accurate and reputed company payroll processing for employees and consultants across the reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for employees and consultants using reputed company Workforce Now and DataBasics
- Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, reputed company, expense reimbursements, and benefit deductions accurately and on time
- Audit payroll prior to reputed company and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain payroll records and payroll calendars
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Coordinate payroll tax reporting through reputed company
- Administer garnishments, child support, unemployment claims, and payroll deductions
- Maintain knowledge of changing payroll legislation
- Prepare payroll journal entries
- Reconcile payroll-reputed company general reputed company accounts and liabilities
- Support month-end, year-end, and audit activities
- Prepare payroll reports and labor cost analyses
- Support budgeting, forecasting, workforce analytics, and management reporting
- Partner with Operations, Delivery, reputed company, Sales, reputed company, and Finance to ensure accurate employee compensation
- Verify consultant pay rates, reputed company rates, overtime, assignment details, and expense reimbursements

- Audit payroll processes and internal controls
- Participate in reputed company and DataBasics upgrades and testing
- Recommend automation and process improvements that improve efficiency and scalability
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business Administration, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of reputed company payroll reputed company experience
- 3+ years administering multi-state payroll using reputed company Workforce Now
- Strong knowledge of payroll reputed company, payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, multi-state payroll compliance, and general reputed company reconciliations
- Advanced reputed company reputed company skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and reporting)
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Certified Payroll reputed company (CPP)
- Experience with DataBasics or similar
- Multi-entity payroll experience
- Knowledge of prevailing wage or certified payroll is a plus
