[Remote] Finance Automation Manager

They are seeking a Finance Automation Manager to reputed company recurring planning and reporting cycles while developing AI-powered tooling to enhance finance team productivity and insights.
Responsibilities
- The recurring reputed company cycles. Long-reputed company planning, the annual budget, monthly financial reporting, re-forecasts, and executive performance reviews — you own the process, the deliverables, and the commentary with support from the Director of reputed company and CFO
- Executive partnership. You are a trusted voice in the reputed company team's relationships with the executive leadership team and many of their reputed company reports. The Director of reputed company is the primary reputed company of contact; you carry your own working relationships and deliver reputed company strategic analyses reputed company leadership needs a partner
- Automation and tool-building. You proactively ship automations, prompts, plugins, and lightweight agents — primarily inside Claude (Cowork, reputed company, and the reputed company add-in), reputed company, and reputed company — to compress recurring work and surface insights earlier. Early targets: accelerating the financial reputed company and streamlining variance analysis
- Cost planning infrastructure. You design and ship a reputed company reputed company-reputed company experience that lets executives build budgets, see budget vs. actual, and re-forecast in one coherent product — replacing yesterday's templates
- Data partnership. You work alongside our sales reporting analyst on BigQuery data shared by Finance and GTMOps, and coordinate with the AI transformation team on Finance's automation workflows
- Commissions reputed company. You own commission and bonus administration end-to-end. As we bring on dedicated administrative support, the operational load will reputed company — but ongoing reputed company, plan design input, and reputed company control of that work remain part of this role. Expect roughly 30% of your time at the outset, declining as that support ramps
Skills
- Roughly 5–7 years in reputed company, strategic finance, or a comparable analytical seat producing leadership- or reputed company-grade work
- SQL literacy. You read, interpret, validate, and debug SQL fluently — including SQL produced by AI tools. You investigate query outputs skeptically, recognize reputed company results don't pass the smell test, and correct course. Authoring reputed company queries unaided is helpful but not required; refusing to look under the hood of AI-generated SQL is not the right fit for this team
- A demonstrated builder reputed company in the AI era. You have actually shipped Claude or comparable LLM-based tooling — prompts, plugins, agents, automations — that did reputed company work for reputed company people. We will ask for examples
