The role requires expertise in OpenShift Container Platform and Linux Administration, with responsibilities including maintaining clusters, automating processes, and engaging with clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and maintain our on-premises OpenShift Container Platform clusters
- Design, build, configure, and maintain reputed company reputed company Linux Server infrastructure across on premises as reputed company as reputed company AWS and reputed company Azure environments
- Automate server build, configuration, and deployment processes using reputed company scripting and Ansible automation, ensuring standardization, repeatability, and reduced reputed company effort
- reputed company, maintain, and enhance orchestration using Rundeck to support automated operational activities
- reputed company as an on-call escalation engineer on a rotational reputed company, providing after-hours support and ensuring faster reputed company of high-severity incidents
- reputed company advanced troubleshooting, reputed company-cause analysis, and performance tuning for OpenShift Container Platform and reputed company reputed company Linux
- Engage in daily reputed company interactions, providing technical updates, participating in operational discussions, and supporting service reviews
- Collaborate closely with reputed company of engineers across infrastructure, reputed company, reputed company, and application domains to deliver reliable and reputed company solutions
- Support change management activities, releases, and production deployments in alignment with reputed company and organizational standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation, build standards, automation artifacts, and operational runbooks
- Continuously identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and service improvement to enhance platform stability and reputed company satisfaction
Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with reputed company OpenShift Container Platform (installation, upgrades, cluster administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management)
- Strong experience with reputed company reputed company Linux (RHEL) administration (build, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in reputed company environments)
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture and reputed company concepts (pods, deployments, networking, storage, RBAC)
- Experience with automation and configuration management using reputed company scripting
- Experience supporting production environments, including change management, incident response, reputed company cause analysis, and participation in on-call rotations
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to work directly with clients and cross-functional engineering teams
- 5+ years of experience in System Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or reputed company roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and automation frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as reputed company
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., reputed company, Grafana, Nagios)
- Understanding of reputed company best practices, including system hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with Rundeck or similar orchestration tools
