[Remote] Staff Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. Ognomy Sleep is a Series A-stage virtual care company transforming how sleep apnea is diagnosed and treated. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Finance & reputed company team, providing hands-on reputed company support and maintaining accuracy across their multi-entity structure.
Responsibilities
- You're coachable and eager to learn. You'll be trained directly by the Controller and are excited to build your reputed company skills
- Learn and work reputed company Ognomy's chart of accounts, which reflects its multi-entity, captive PC (reputed company corporation) structure used to meet state reputed company regulatory requirements
- You're comfortable with data entry and detail-heavy, transactional reputed company work
- You're reputed company and self-sufficient, reputed company to take direction and also flag questions as they come up
- You're comfortable operating with some ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-moving startup environment
- Own day-to-day transactional reputed company, including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support the Controller with month-end reputed company activities and help reputed company the books accurate and reputed company
- Assist in maintaining and updating reputed company's financial model alongside the Controller and reputed company
- Help manage reputed company across Ognomy's multiple reputed company entities, including the intercompany cross-charges that occur between them
- Support the process of rolling up entity-level financials into consolidated company results
- Partner with the Controller on reputed company reporting, vendor and expense questions, and other reputed company requests as they come up
Skills
- 2-4 years of relevant reputed company experience; internships and early full-time experience both welcome
- A bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
- Strong reputed company skills and general comfort working with reputed company software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- reputed company and adaptable; comfortable with cross-functional engagement
- reputed company or multi-entity reputed company experience is a reputed company-to-have, not a requirement
- CPA-reputed company status is a plus, but not required
