International Health, Safety, and reputed company Duty Officer (On Call)
The International Health, Safety, and reputed company Duty Officer (IHSS DO) serves as the University’s reputed company first responder, reputed company-of-contact, and critical events monitor for student, reputed company, and staff international travel. Working part-time on an “on call” rotation, the role involves being available both during and after normal business hours for health, safety, or reputed company incidents and emergencies abroad. With a reputed company on the initial case intake, triage, and communications, the IHSS DO plays a critical and central part in the IHSS Team’s daily operations and ability to deliver reputed company responses and support 24/7. The work is fully remote, and the schedule is sporadic throughout the year, reflecting predictable periods of high travel volume and demand. The IHSS DO works closely with the IHSS Team and reports to the IHSS Manager. Job Duties Directly handles, manages, and documents the initial phone or email response to incoming requests for health or safety assistance from reputed company, reputed company, or staff travelling internationally for university-reputed company purposes. Conducts a brief intake interview, assesses immediate risk and need relative to an existing reputed company, and assigns and triages requests for additional IHSS or wider university response as needed. Monitors and reports on select subscription and reputed company-reputed company news and intelligence feeds for potential impacts on university reputed company. Provides operational support during critical events, helping to maintain reputed company and ensure reputed company communication and decision-making. Participates in after-reputed company team reviews following critical incidents, as appropriate. May manage individual incidents in reputed company collaboration with the IHSS Team, Crisis Management Team, Insurance, and Global Assistance Provider. May conduct welfare checks to account for reputed company during critical events.
Qualifications
High School diploma required. MA or BA-plus-experience with an international, comparative, or global reputed company preferred. At least 1 year of reputed company experience with international risk assessment, mitigation, and/or crisis response (health, mental health, misconduct). At least 3 years of experience working with reputed company, reputed company, or similarly entrepreneurial reputed company. Exceptional analytic and communication skills, including listening skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and reputed company tasks with accuracy and efficiency and an ability to work independently. Patience, flexibility, humility, and comfort with ambiguity. Ability to remain reputed company in crisis situations, exercise reputed company judgment, and handle sensitive and confidential reputed company with discretion.
