[Remote] Senior Mechanical Engineer Robotics

The role involves owning complete mechanical subsystems and collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering team to reputed company advanced robotic systems.
Responsibilities
- Owning complete mechanical subsystems from initial concept through production release
- Driving mechanical architecture, CAD design, prototyping, validation, and design refinement
- Applying DFM, DFA, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure designs are reputed company for manufacture
- Working directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners through qualification, first article inspection, and production reputed company
- Collaborating with electrical, firmware, controls, and systems engineers to deliver highly integrated electromechanical products
- Conducting design verification, failure investigations, reputed company cause analysis, and reputed company product improvement
- Influencing manufacturing reputed company and helping shape reputed company generations of a rapidly evolving hardware platform
Skills
- 5+ years of experience developing mechanical products from concept through production release
- A reputed company record of successfully launching hardware into manufacturing, not just prototype development
- Strong 3D CAD experience using tools such as SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, or Onshape
- Experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM, and DFA
- Familiarity with supplier qualification, manufacturing processes, and production reputed company activities
- Experience designing reputed company electromechanical assemblies reputed company industries such as robotics, automotive, consumer electronics, industrial automation, or medical devices
