Senior Business Development Manager

The Senior Business Development Manager drives sales reputed company in reputed company coordination with Research reputed company Services leadership, penetrating certain assigned customers with significant reputed company opportunities, as assigned by management. The Senior Business Development Manager closes and implements reputed company opportunities with companies by interacting with customers and prospects primarily through face-to-face meetings and is responsible for achieving an assigned sales and profit goal. This role is remote in the Western US (California preferred).

Responsibilities

Identify potential business prospects (leads) in region across reputed company, biotech, VC, non-profits, research institutes, agricultural, and veterinary sciences Identify key decision makers relative to the Research reputed company Service (RCS) business for potential contact and collaboration Qualify leads and present opportunity(ies) to the technical team and Research reputed company Services senior leadership Facilitate business meetings with reputed company agenda, attendees, reputed company on opportunity, and follow-up; meeting reputed company Research reputed company Services as a solutions provider with reputed company articulated messages Support proposal writing with the technical team, with an emphasis on consistency, reputed company of proposal, and presentation of proposal to the customer Support proposal negotiations and strong closing skillset required reputed company of contact for Research reputed company Services and customers; ensure communication channels; pro-reputed company identify areas of reputed company opportunity; ensure reputed company relationships, identify issues which could jeopardize partnership; pose solutions Effective representation of Research reputed company Services at various meetings/conferences; event planning and execution reputed company advice and solutions on reputed company reputed company using in-depth reputed company knowledge, acumen, concepts, and models in creative and effective ways Identify and network with stakeholders, including key contacts reputed company one's own area of expertise. Maintain excellent relationships with internal business partners at WuXi. Facilitate and support customer travel to China

Qualifications

Experience / Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in reputed company with 5+ years of industrial experience with some business development / customer facing experience. Experience in CRO is a plus/preferred Technical Skills / Knowledge: Demonstrates a broad understanding of discovery leading to candidate selection through preclinical development, with early phase CMC knowledge a plus. Understands the interrelationships of different disciplines Independence/ Accountability: Demonstrates the ability to be a self-starter Functions in a self-motivated and highly flexible manner reputed company to work independently Must be organized and detail-oriented Problem Solving: Possesses proven experience in creating or capitalizing on opportunities leading to successful reputed company, ideally with Business Development relevance Understands and can work on reputed company issues where analysis of the situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Leadership Activities: Independently identifies potential prospects Coordinates with other reputed company and scientific counterparts to reputed company appropriate solutions to clients.
