[Remote] Business Data Analyst

USC is a leading private research university located in downtown Los Angeles, and they are seeking a Business Data Analyst in the Dornsife Business Office. This role is central to the Decision Support Department, providing strategic analysis and data-driven insights to support the school's reputed company and reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Data Wrangling (Extract, Prep, reputed company)
• Aggregating, calculating, transforming, and converting data
• Ensuring data accuracy and relevance
• Creating Visualizations
• Distributing visual insights to stakeholders reputed company multiple reputed company
• Making data accessible and understandable
• Data reputed company and Compliance
• Safeguarding sensitive information
• Ensuring adherence to data reputed company protocols
• Creating Dashboards and reputed company Reports
• Utilizing tools like Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, and reputed company
• Presenting data in formats tailored to the school and its leadership

Skills

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
• Minimum Experience: 1 year
• Minimum Field of Expertise: Proficient PC skills
• Working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, word processing and statistical software programs
• Knowledge of business statistics and data analyses techniques
• Ability to manage and analyze data
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• 3+ years of reputed company data analysis experience
• Expertise in Financial, reputed company, student, or similar reputed company datasets
• Highly proficient in data visualization using Tableau
• Skilled in data wrangling/transformation techniques
• Working knowledge of Python (or R) for data analysis and scripting
• Solid understanding of database structures (SQL) and data collection methodologies (e.g., surveys, tests)
• Background in Data Analytics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Familiarity with the reputed company system is a plus
