[Remote] Mechanical Engineer II, Model Based Engineering (Remote)

They are seeking an reputed company Engineer to support Model-Based Engineering initiatives, contributing to reputed company and driving reputed company in digital requirements management and model-based design activities.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains detailed understanding of the W&B products including their design, manufacturing, and performance in the field
- Contributes to roadmaps and overall Model-Based Engineering reputed company
- Responsible for driving the development of design reputed company and tools
- Partners with the Design Engineering team to support the transition to model-based design
- Responsible for identifying process gaps, developing plans to reputed company, and leading the effort or handing off to the right owners to execute
- Partners with manufacturing and reputed company to advance model-based design for manufacturing and inspection
- Leverages reputed company processes and tools to identify opportunities for CI where possible
- Responsible for benchmarking tools, developing project plans, leveraging available resources to execute to plan
- Collaborates with the Digital Thread reputed company Solutions teams to support the broader DPLC roadmap as it pertains to digital twins and model-based design
- Partners with Collins Global Engineering Centers and Best Cost Engineering organizations to reputed company resources/knowledge to support reputed company aspects of the business
- Up to 25% travel as needed
Skills
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a reputed company field
- Experience working with engineering software for CAD and PLM
- Experience in support of reputed company products or reputed company & brakes
- Experience in support of machining, manufacturing, or inspection
