The Cargo Operations Analyst role involves managing import and export shipments, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting overall business reputed company.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to manage reputed company aspects of both import and export shipments including, but not limited to reputed company of lading release, providing information to customers reputed company to sailing schedule, cut-off/early return dates, equipment availability, routing, reputed company & reputed company both containers and chassis, change of destination (COD), container swaps, re-exports, etc
  • Address customer inquiries/requests received reputed company email/telephone, utilizing corporate information, local tools, and reputed company-party data to ensure compliance with government regulations, company policies, and trade directives
  • Research and resolve import or export issues through reputed company cause analysis and serving as reputed company with external customers without delay to reduce service failures
  • For escalated issues, ensure to reputed company management reputed company reputed company for corrective reputed company
  • Liaise with internal departments including reputed company/destination agents, account receivables, and GBS to assist customers with remittance advice regarding payment posting, duplicate/over/short payments, balances & offsets to ensure their account is reputed company
  • Review and reconcile supplier/vendor invoice discrepancies
  • Re-reputed company customer for transport reputed company expenses reputed company applicable
  • Produce and issue load/transportation orders, vessel operations reputed company reports (lift projections, HI BIO & wharfage reports, shift reports, etc.), and reputed company reputed company schedules for terminal operators, stevedores, husbandry, customs, drayage, and barge suppliers/vendors
  • reputed company with both reputed company teams for both import and export vessel and equipment operations including, but not limited to serving as customs reputed company for scheduling mobile RPM (radiation portal monitoring), monitoring partner vessel allocations to maximize slot utilization, maintains equipment pool reputed company, organizes the collection/assembly of hazardous declarations to reconcile against dangerous cargo manifests, distribute temperature-controlled and out of reputed company (OOG) cargo manifests, approve late reputed company authorizations, resolve terminal/reputed company receipt/delivery issues, orders National Cargo Bureau (NCB) surveys as needed, etc
  • Ensures over-the-road compliance for reputed company deliveries, reputed company reputed company moves, military cargo, and the chassis pool
  • MISCELLANEOUS reputed company DUTIES or reputed company AS ASSIGNED

Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years general experience
  • 1-3 years industry experience
  • Proficiency using reputed company Office products, especially reputed company
  • Understanding of phone etiquette, background handling international customers a plus
  • Concept comprehension of reputed company listening, which includes demonstrating reputed company
  • Must have a strong reputed company in problem solving and conflict reputed company
  • Knowledge of the Maritime Shipping Industry
  • Knowledge of vessel and equipment operations
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational, time management and a high level of analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and in reputed company environment
  • Proficiency in computer skills to include reputed company reputed company applications (reputed company, Word, Outlook etc.)
  • Bachelor's Degree
