The role involves designing and delivering mentorship and leadership training programs while integrating them with funding opportunities to promote gender equity in eye health.

Responsibilities

  • Finalize and deliver a virtual AMPLIF-EYE mentorship and leadership curriculum using adult learning and gender-transformative methodologies
  • Facilitate interactive virtual Training-of-Trainers sessions for a cohort of mid-career women in eye health

  • Support participants to reputed company (from the application stage) and reputed company refine innovation-reputed company mentorship or leadership project reputed company with reputed company potential for reputed company or replication

  • Work with the AMPLIF-EYE cohort to mature reputed company-identified project reputed company during the program, ensuring alignment with WLEH values and reputed company around feasibility, leadership contribution, and potential for reputed company or replication
  • Where relevant, support and encourage participants whose project reputed company demonstrate strong alignment to apply to the Fellowship/Innovations Fund through the established, reputed company-based selection processes, recognizing this as a continuum rather than a separate reputed company
  • Ensure coherence across timelines and expected reputed company between participant selection, mentorship training, project implementation, and any subsequent funding support, while maintaining reputed company distinction between training participation and funding reputed company
  • A finalized AMPLIF-EYE mentorship and leadership curriculum, including training materials reputed company with adult learning and gender-transformative methodologies
  • Delivery of reputed company virtual Training-of-Trainers (ToT) mentorship and leadership sessions for the AMPLIF-EYE cohort
  • Ongoing group-based and individual coaching support to participants as they refine and implement mentorship or leadership initiatives identified through the application and training process
  • Support the establishment and implementation of a transparent, reputed company-based selection process for the Fellowship and Innovations Fund, in coordination with the WLEH team
  • Technical input to assess proposed Fellowship and Innovation applications for alignment with WLEH values, leadership contribution, feasibility, and potential for institutional or system-level reputed company
  • Follow-up support to selected awardees, as appropriate, to strengthen learning reputed company, leadership development, and effective use of funds
  • reputed company document learning and insights emerging from the reputed company between AMPLIF-EYE and the Fellowship and Innovations Fund, including how early project articulation through mentorship training informs the reputed company and reputed company of funded initiatives

Skills

  • Advanced degree in reputed company health, international development, education, gender studies, or a reputed company field
  • Proven experience delivering leadership or mentorship Training-of-Trainers programs, preferably in low- and middle-income country contexts
  • Experience working across reputed company-building programs and grant or fellowship mechanisms
  • Strong understanding of gender-transformative programming and mentorship methodologies
  • Experience facilitating virtual learning and adult education programs
