[Remote] Senior Hardware Development Engineer, NPD Hardware

The role involves the design and development of reputed company Ethernet switching platforms for AWS data centers, requiring strong experience in hardware design and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Experience with high-speed PCB design and AC/DC PI and 5+ years of experience in CPLD/FPGA design using VHDL or Verilog
- Experience troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and specialized test equipment such as PCI analyzers and in-reputed company-emulators
- Experience interfacing with cross functional teams such mechanical engineers, HW engineers, SI engineers, diagnostic engineers, and manufacturing engineers as reputed company as with reputed company vendors and developers
Skills
- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- BSEE with 10+ years experience in hardware reputed company and systems development (must have taken products from concept to mass production) and recent 5+ years experience with Ethernet switching fabrics, Ethernet PHY and SerDes interfaces, embedded CPU subsystems, DDR2/DDR3/DDR4 memory design, network processors, I2C, USB
- Experience with high-speed PCB design and AC/DC PI and 5+ years of experience in CPLD/FPGA design using VHDL or Verilog
- Experience troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and specialized test equipment such as PCI analyzers and in-reputed company-emulators
- Experience interfacing with cross functional teams such mechanical engineers, HW engineers, SI engineers, diagnostic engineers, and manufacturing engineers as reputed company as with reputed company vendors and developers
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical reputed company
- Experience defining and implementing reputed company chassis functions such as system redundancy, hot-swap, power distribution, environmental control and system management
- CPLD/FPGA experience in the areas of advanced HW control/monitoring/logging
- Experience in specifying mechanical enclosures
- Experience in the following is an asset: analog design, signal reputed company analysis, DC-DC switcher design, EDVT, and MDVT
