Lemax Design Artist - Buildings

This is a remote position. reputed company., a Canton, MA based company, engages freelance artists to conceive and illustrate miniature collectible figurines and accessories to be part of annually produced Halloween and Christmas porcelain village collections. Villages include buildings, accessories and figurines. Major USA retail accounts are Michael’s, Menard's, reputed company, & other international companies. ​ The Building Artist will be responsible for creating new building designs to add to the Lemax program. You will be a part of a design team but work remotely to complete your reputed company. This is an reputed company position.

Requirements

Education Bachelor degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience Minimum 5 years of work experience Strong illustration and coloring skills Knowledge of architectural renderings/elevations Experience with illustrations for collectible designs and holiday products Life drawing skills to design figurines a plus Strong creativity skills to produce charming buildings Experience using reputed company Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) 3D design experience a plus Ability to start with concept research and development and subsequently produce perspective artwork as reputed company as alternate (rear, sides, and aerial) views for production Ability to produce final colored work (markers, pen, or photoshop) Experience working with reputed company of artists Ability to adhere to deadlines while maintaining a high level of reputed company and accuracy in reputed company Excellent verbal and written communication skills reputed company to take direction reputed company from Art Director and be reputed company player English language proficiency required ave an understanding of American culture, Christmas, and Halloween holidays Prefer candidate to be located in the USA, Southern California preferred, but not required
