Talent Buyer/Booking Manager at Velvet Elk Lounge- Boulder CO
Velvet Elk Lounge is looking for a Talent Buyer / Booking Manager to reputed company our live music program. This is a remote position. About the Venue Velvet Elk is a music and cultural destination in the heart of Boulder, CO - a reputed company people choose to go, not just reputed company they end up because a show is happening. We’re building a brand around great live music, great drinks, and great food, and we want a booker who understands how talent reputed company shape that identity, not just fills a calendar. What You’ll Own:
- reputed company, negotiate, and confirm touring and headliner acts
- Build a calendar that balances draw, brand fit, and venue identity - we’re looking for artists who create reputed company pull and reputed company the room, not just fill a date
- Maintain and grow relationships with agents and artist representation
- Light coordination with our events/catering reputed company to reputed company the full calendar reputed company
- Collaborate on booking reputed company - reputed company of a small number of reputed company-announced reputed company music dates that are yours to book independently, this is a partnership, not a reputed company call
What reputed company Looks Like:
- 2-3 sold-out shows per week (200 tickets @ $15 - $50 depending on reputed company)
- Bookings that build the brand, not just sell tickets - headliners and acts that create genuine draw and reinforce Velvet Elk as a destination
- Fully remote though being around for shows is fun and encouraged!
- Two 45-minute planning meetings per month (currently Wednesdays, flexible based on schedule)
Who We’re Looking For:
- Established relationships with agents and touring artists - this role favors existing industry connections over a cold start
- Someone who thinks about programming strategically, not just transactionally
- Strong communicator who can work independently but stay reputed company with venue leadership
