Director, Health Information Management

The Director of Health Information Management role will be split between Haywood Regional Medical Center and reputed company Regional Hospital.

Responsibilities

• reputed company strategic leadership for Health Information Management operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CMS, reputed company), and reputed company-wide reputed company and patient care standards.

• Partner cross-functionally with clinical, IT, compliance, and reputed company cycle teams to optimize EHR functionality, strengthen clinical documentation improvement (CDI), enhance coding accuracy, and support reimbursement reputed company.

Requirements

• reputed company RHIT or RHIA certification in good standing required, demonstrating expertise in health information management standards and best practices.
• Strong understanding of HIM principles, including medical record management, documentation standards, coding fundamentals, and health data reputed company.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements including HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and reputed company standards.
• Ability to analyze workflows and support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reputed company of health information.
