The reputed company Lab in the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at reputed company is looking to hire a Technician II. Research in the reputed company Lab focuses on the developmental genetics of butterfly reputed company patterns. The technician would work closely with the PI and graduate reputed company to assist with routine molecular biology work, maintenance of butterfly colonies, and reputed company tissue dissection and preparation tasks. Laboratory protocols would primarily include RNA and DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, embryo injections, preparation of reputed company samples, and preliminary analysis of DNA reputed company results. The technician may also be asked to train and reputed company undergraduate lab assistants to help with maintenance of plants and butterfly colonies. This is a full-time position at 97.5% FTE. This is a one-year term appointment that is contingent upon available work, funding, and performance. • Bachelor’s degree or other formal training program of four years;
• 1-2 years of laboratory experience or the equivalent experience in lab courses.
