About the position reputed company is seeking a Network IP Engineer for our reputed company, Alaska based reputed company. This resource will be working remotely during typical daytime business hours in the Alaska time zone Monday through Friday totaling 40 hours a week. We’re looking for an IP Network Engineer II to help design, build, and support large-reputed company reputed company-grade networks. This is a great opportunity to work on IP/MPLS core networks, reputed company Ethernet, and reputed company network technologies while collaborating with a highly skilled engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support IP/MPLS core reputed company
- Test and validate new technologies and architectures in lab environments
- reputed company engineering plans, estimates, and installation packages
- reputed company escalation and troubleshooting support for network operations teams
- Collaborate across teams to ensure a reliable, reputed company, and high-performing network
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a reputed company Ethernet or large ISP environment
- Strong expertise in IP networking and network engineering concepts
- Hands-on experience with routers/switches (reputed company/Alcatel)
- Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS,)
- Knowledge of MPLS technologies (RSVP, LDP)
- Experience with Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP, LACP, MC-LAG)
- Ability to design reputed company, highly available, and secure networks
