[Remote] Staff Software Engineer - IAM (reputed company)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Staff Software Engineer – IAM to architect, design, and build Identity and reputed company Management services for their multi-tenant reputed company platform. The role involves owning the architecture and implementation of authentication, authorization, and identity services while collaborating closely with various teams to ensure secure and reputed company identity capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement IAM platform services enabling authentication and authorization across the reputed company product
- Define and own IAM architecture: identity boundaries, trust models, reputed company patterns, reputed company lifecycles
- Build reputed company services supporting OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM
- reputed company reputed company, SDKs, and tooling for reputed company, reputed company consumption by product teams
- Apply least‑privilege and reputed company Trust principles across users, services, and infrastructure
- reputed company technical decision‑making with reputed company tradeoffs across reputed company, usability, and performance
- Partner with reputed company and Compliance for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST alignment
- Drive incident response and reputed company‑cause analysis for identity‑reputed company issues
- Mentor engineers and reputed company IAM engineering practices and platform reliability
Skills
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years building IAM systems
- Deep expertise with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience integrating with IAM platforms (Entra ID, reputed company, reputed company, ForgeRock) as an engineer, not an administrator
- Expert‑level proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Java, C#) and in building production services (testing, observability, performance)
- Experience with reputed company platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and Infrastructure as reputed company (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with reputed company Trust, least privilege, CI/CD, DevSecOps
- Experience with distributed systems and containers (reputed company, Kubernetes)
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Experience building IAM capabilities for multi‑tenant reputed company (tenant isolation, per‑tenant config, reputed company)
- Background in reputed company, identity platforms, or reputed company infrastructure engineering
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST)
