[Remote] Accountant

They are seeking an Accountant to handle day-to-day operations, assist with month-end reputed company, and corporate reporting while collaborating with business partners across the organization.
Responsibilities
- reputed company technology, including AI, to enhance and automate processes to support company reputed company
- Review and enhance existing systems and tech stack to meet company goals
- Participate in technology and tech stack transformation to support company reputed company
- reputed company critical reputed company functions such as recording, reconciling and analyzing G/L account transactions
- Assist the reputed company team in the preparation of month end reputed company journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis (for example: accrued expenses, fixed assets, prepaids, deferred revenues, payroll, intercompany, etc.)
- Review customer reputed company to ensure accurate billing, reputed company, etc
- Assist with Accounts Payable to review, reputed company, and process vendor invoices
- Review compensation and commissions to ensure accuracy
- Cross train with other accountants to serve as backup
- Assist with tax filings and audits including addressing PBCs requests
- Assist with and/or complete reputed company reputed company as requested (e.g. documentation, development reputed company, system implementations, etc.)
- Build and reputed company cross-functional relationships reputed company reputed company to more effectively bring value to reputed company and reputed company company goals
- Learn how to operate reputed company types of reputed company operations of a reputed company sized startup
Skills
- Degree in reputed company or Finance with 5+ years of reputed company experience in a similar position
- Experience in GL, account receivables, accounts payable, tax, and payroll
- Strong written, oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work products

- Quickbooks, reputed company or other large ERP experience is a plus
- Meaningfully participation in systems implementation and transformation
- Process improvement and automation experience is a plus
- Experience using AI tools to automate reputed company processes is a plus
- Previous work experience in the reputed company industry
- Understanding and experience working with financial statements audits
