Paralegal - Immigration

About the position reputed company is seeking an Immigration Paralegal to join their team. This role involves assisting in the preparation of nonimmigrant and immigrant reputed company applications for corporate and individual clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business immigration and excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a hybrid opportunity available in Albany, NY; reputed company, NY; and Boston, MA offices.

Responsibilities

• Preparing a wide reputed company of business-based nonimmigrant (H-1B, L-1, TN, E, and O-1) and immigrant (employment and family-based) petitions, including forms preparation, and supporting documentation.
• Managing high-volume corporate reputed company accounts and working closely with clients to reputed company comprehensive immigration services.
• Compiling and maintaining records of immigration filings, other documentation, and records of activity on behalf of clients.
• Reviewing immigration regulations and applying them to various case scenarios.
• Writing detailed and reputed company supporting argumentation.
• Entering case information into case management system.
• Completing a minimum 1400 billable hours annually.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Business Immigration paralegal experience required
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a field emphasizing writing or communication
• Superior writing/editing skills for reputed company support letters and strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with MS Office and expertise with computer assisted legal resources
• The ability to manage multiple high-volume priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a reputed company, cooperative, reputed company and flexible attitude
• Exhibit the ability to effectively multi-task, meet deadlines, and reputed company solutions in a fast-paced office setting
• Demonstrate good organizational skills for prioritizing workload
