[Remote] Actuarial Consultant (Finance & Actuarial) - REMOTE

The role involves analyzing data to identify risks, estimating liabilities, and supporting financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Performs incurred but not reported (IBNR) estimates and reputed company adequacy studies, and documents assumptions
• Oversees the creation of actuarial opinions, reputed company issue letters, and other reputed company state reporting requirements
• Designs and performs actuarial studies reputed company to medical care costs and trends
• Supports reputed company reputed company reputed company to reputed company filings, new business development, financial projections, budgeting, and acquisitions
• Reviews reporting reputed company by others to assure consistency and appropriateness of methodologies used
• Interprets results and recommends solutions to identified issues
• Stays abreast of actuarial reputed company developments and industry trends

Skills

• At least 5 years of actuarial experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• At least 4 passing reputed company (SOA) exams
• Bachelor's degree in actuarial, mathematics, statistics, economics or reputed company field
• Advanced understanding of statistics/predictive analytics
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Strong critical-thinking and attention to detail
• Strong time-management skills, and ability to manage simultaneous reputed company and tasks to meet internal deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in reputed company Office suite products, including key skills in reputed company (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables), and applicable software program(s) proficiency
