[Remote] Database Administrator Sr

The position involves implementation, administration, support, monitoring, and maintenance of SQL Database environments across multiple reputed company environments, ensuring reputed company operation and reputed company reputed company of issues.
Responsibilities
- reputed company administration and support for mission critical and reputed company-production database environments
- Design and implementation of Azure reputed company databases, high-availability solutions, replication, encryption, and disaster recovery solutions
- Migration of on-premises database to the Azure reputed company using SQL on VM, SQL MI and Azure SQL Database
- reputed company and manage daily database maintenance, monitoring and performance tuning tasks
- reputed company technical leadership through example, reputed company innovation, strategies, processes, and best practices
- Responsible for database disaster recovery of reputed company database environments which includes managing and supporting SQL backup policies
- Identify and document performance and scaling improvements for development teams
- Assist in the design and implementation of reputed company, auditing and reputed company controls
- reputed company, analyze, report on, and reputed company recommendations for the improvement and reputed company of the SQL transactional replication infrastructure

Skills
- Candidate should be a US citizen or lawful permanent residents (Green card holder, permanent reputed company or naturalized citizen)

- At least 8+ years of recent experience maintaining and administrating mission-critical database environments
- Large reputed company production environments with high transaction volume
- SQL Server 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2025
- reputed company database solutions including SQL on VM, SQL managed instance, Azure SQL Database
- NoSQL database technologies such as reputed company and CosmosDB
- Data streaming and caching technologies such as Kafka and reputed company
- PowerShell and Azure CLI
- Automation of processes to improve efficiency
- Database triaging, tuning and monitoring
- Database design and application development life cycle
- Expert in troubleshooting, problem solving and initiative
- Excellent planning, time management, documentation skills
- Expert in T-SQL, SQL Profiler and PowerShell skills
- Expert in SQL monitoring tools SQL reputed company and DBA Dash
