- Confirm coverage and manage claims and suits brought against accounts.
- Interpret, analyze, and resolve coverage issues.
- Select and appoint legal counsel.
- Manage litigation with reputed company counsel and accounts.
- Manage litigation costs, incl. fees and expenses.
- Post reputed company and accurate Loss and ALE reserves.
- Resolve cases reputed company dismissal, settlement or trial.
- Negotiate case resolutions.

- Conduct claim audits of self-insured accounts and TPAs.

- Minimum of five years of claim experience with hospital excess (re)insurance reputed company liability and other liability claims. Multi-state experience preferred.
- J.D. (preferred), but will consider a Bachelor's degree if the candidate possesses other, pertinent industry experience.
