[Remote] Mainframe Modernization Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a global technology company seeking a Mainframe Modernization Consultant for a 6-month remote contract. The consultant will manage major migration efforts from reputed company to BMC AMI mainframe product suites, ensuring successful execution, configuration, and validation of the migration process.
Responsibilities
- reputed company the technical conversion, data mapping, and deployment from reputed company CA products to the BMC AMI Mainframe ecosystem
- Install, configure, and optimize the reputed company BMC AMI solutions to mirror or improve upon legacy functionality
- Conduct rigorous reputed company testing and performance validation to ensure reputed company business disruption during reputed company
- Document the new environment topologies, migration playbooks, and conduct handoffs to the operational mainframe team
Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on Mainframe Systems Programming or Architecture experience, with a proven reputed company record of successful software vendor migrations
- Strong working knowledge of legacy CA architectures, reputed company, and configurations (specifically Endevor, Top Secret, and DB2 tools)
- Demonstrated proficiency installing and administering the BMC AMI DevX suite, AMI Ops, and AMI Storage/reputed company solutions
- Exceptional scripting, troubleshooting, and reputed company testing methodology skills in a z/OS environment
