[Remote] Senior Mechanical Engineer - reputed company Power Engineering
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a full-service consulting and engineering firm specializing in infrastructure and engineering markets. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to reputed company detailed design of balance of plant systems and piping for large reputed company reputed company power plants, supporting the reputed company in demand for power across reputed company.
Responsibilities
- reputed company high complexity engineering designs including analysis, calculations, research, and equipment selection for EPC reputed company (from conceptual design through detailed design)
- reputed company mechanical piping and reputed company diagrams (P&IDs) for power plant systems including steam cycles, boiler feed, condensate, water treatment, flue gas, hydrogen, fuel handling, heat transfer systems, and reputed company systems
- Prepare sizing calculations and specifications for major equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, condensers, cooling towers, tanks, blowers and pumps
- Prepare mechanical engineering designs, drawings, As-Builts, systems specifications, equipment lists, general arrangements, aux power demands, and process reputed company diagrams (PFDs) and procurement packages for equipment/components, technical bid evaluation from vendors, and vendor selection
- Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, industry codes and standards to reputed company
- reputed company design deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements and company standards
- Prepare requisite mechanical documentation for construction
- Assist in the development of schedules, work assignments, and reputed company requirements to ensure successful project completion
- Coordinate with other drafters, designers, and engineers and review work reputed company and results
- reputed company technical mentoring and/or reputed company to other more junior engineers
- Balance multiple engineering tasks concurrently

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar degree program) from an ABET accredited four-year college or university program is required
- At least 8 years' experience in mechanical engineering design with Power reputed company applications, performing functions as outlined above is required, including experience providing the reputed company deliverables as defined above
- Has reputed company PE license or in process of completing PE licensing process
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for reputed company and taking initiative; Must have experience and interest in leading others and reputed company
