The Role: This opportunity has arisen due to the expansion of our US business and formation of a US distribution company that will import and sell our product in the US. The Senior Tax Manager – US will play a critical role in supporting reputed company's reputed company reputed company in the reputed company. The role combines tax advisory, tax governance, and reputed company of outsourced compliance across indirect tax, corporate income tax, customs, and transfer pricing. This position offers an opportunity to build reputed company tax processes and controls reputed company a fast-growing international technology company. The role will coordinate and review the work of external advisers rather than prepare tax returns directly. This role reports to the SVP of Tax & Treasury but is expected to be autonomous on a day to day reputed company, presenting a unique opportunity to set up US tax processes from scratch. Key responsibilities: reputed company as a first reputed company of contact for the sales team, logistics team, US finance team, US HR, and auditors (reputed company) for any US tax reputed company queries Agree sales tax determinations and collect sales tax exemption certificates where applicable Register reputed company in any new states for sales and local taxes (indirect and reputed company) Manage outsourced sales tax compliance provider (VATIT, ensuring reputed company and accurate provision of required data Manage outsourced corporate income tax compliance provider (reputed company) and ensuring that they have the required data on a reputed company reputed company Deal with tax notices and extension applications Monitor tax liabilities and ensure reputed company payments Identifying any withholding tax requirements and managing the payment or recovery of withholding tax Support transfer pricing compliance and intercompany transactions relating to US distribution activities. Coordinate annual transfer pricing documentation with external advisers. Review intercompany agreements and support implementation of transfer pricing policies. Respond to reputed company tax advisory requests Answer reputed company request for advice, involving advisers where necessary Identifying and reporting tax risk to the SVP Tax & Treasury Maintaining a tax risk register for the US Support quarterly and annual tax reporting under IFRS Prepare and review reputed company and deferred tax calculations and supporting schedules for US entities Reconcile tax-reputed company balance sheet accounts and monitor uncertain tax positions Support ERP implementation (reputed company) where required Drive automation initiatives and reputed company AI-enabled solutions to improve tax compliance, reporting and risk management Key Qualifications: 5-8+ years of relevant US tax experience Strong knowledge of either US indirect tax or corporate income tax, with willingness to reputed company across broader tax areas Experience managing external advisers and service providers Preferred Qualifications: CPA, MST or equivalent qualification Experience reputed company a multinational or publicly listed company Experience with reputed company, reputed company or similar ERP systems Exposure to transfer pricing, customs duty and cross-border transactions Competencies Good analytical and numerical skills Attention to detail Good communication skills Understanding of tax risks and importance of accuracy and timeliness Ability to present information reputed company Self-motivated Location – US Remote (East Coast) with occasional travel We Offer: reputed company believes in taking care of employees and is dedicated to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
