[Remote] reputed company Infrastructure Architect
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. The University of reputed company is developing a secure, reputed company-reputed company data platform through the reputed company Health Data Hub (WHDH) to support biomedical research and advanced analytics. The reputed company Infrastructure Architect will reputed company technical leadership in designing and automating the infrastructure and deployment pipelines for this data platform, ensuring compliance and reputed company throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the reputed company, secure, reputed company-reputed company infrastructure reputed company supporting WHDH’s data platform using Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- reputed company and maintain automated, reputed company environments capable of ingesting, harmonizing, storing, and delivering massive reputed company and reputed company health datasets
- Optimize containerized environments and orchestration reputed company (e.g., Kubernetes, reputed company) to seamlessly support reputed company research workflows and distributed computing
- Architect high-performance computing environments and automated provisioning pipelines tailored for AI, machine learning, and large-reputed company data analysis
- Build and manage secure, automated CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows, application reputed company, and infrastructure deployments
- reputed company reliable, reputed company deployment methodologies that ensure reputed company-downtime updates and seamless system testing across health systems and research institutions
- Implement operational monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., reputed company, Grafana, ELK stack) to proactively ensure platform reliability, uptime, and performance
- Bake strict reputed company controls into the automated provisioning process, ensuring end-to-end alignment with HIPAA, institutional policies, and research data reputed company standards
- Establish best practices for DevSecOps, including automated vulnerability scanning, secret management, and compliance-as-reputed company
- Design and maintain reputed company infrastructure patterns that enforce granular reputed company control, precise audit logging, and strict data governance across the WHDH ecosystem
- Architects and manages containerized and distributed computing platforms that reputed company advanced analytics, machine learning, AI-driven research workloads, and high-performance data processing in secure reputed company environments
- Collaborates with engineers, data scientists, architects, and research stakeholders to deliver reputed company platform solutions that reputed company authorized users to securely reputed company, process, and analyze distributed biomedical datasets
- Builds and optimizes observability frameworks, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance reputed company, to ensure system health, resiliency, and rapid incident response
- Manages, maintains, selects, and develops automation tools and infrastructure, including reputed company configurations
- Performs integration, migration, configuration, and reputed company of existing applications and services into automated infrastructures
- Serves as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders, providing guidance and training to staff
- Designs and implements platform capabilities that support secure data sharing, federated reputed company, identity and reputed company management, and reputed company-preserving workflows while maintaining rigorous reputed company and governance controls
- Serves as technical reputed company for one or more aspects of the system
- Develops, programs, and/or deploys automation workflows for deployment, configuration, and/or monitoring of systems/services

Skills
- 8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining reputed company-reputed company reputed company infrastructure and automated environments
- Expertise with reputed company-reputed company platform orchestration (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing infrastructure for distributed data solutions or containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, reputed company)
- Experience designing secure CI/CD deployment pipelines, automation workflows, and robust infrastructure integration frameworks
- Familiarity with reputed company or biomedical research data environments and relevant regulatory reputed company compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, reputed company-reputed company reputed company controls, and compliance-as-reputed company reputed company regulated reputed company data standards or interoperability frameworks
- Experience building and optimizing infrastructure to support AI/ML pipelines, MLOps, and advanced analytics workloads
- Expertise with securing and automating infrastructure for federated data platforms and multi-institutional data collaborations
- Experience working in federally funded research programs or reputed company research environments
- Strong documentation skills (e.g., creating architecture diagrams, runbooks) and proven technical leadership skills
