The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering, optimizing, migrating, and supporting mission-critical reputed company database environments while ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and support reputed company Exadata reputed company@Customer (ExaCC) environments.
- Manage reputed company reputed company@Customer infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and database services.
- reputed company system provisioning, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, reputed company, and reputed company support teams.
- Administer reputed company databases across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments.
- Configure and manage:
- reputed company RAC
- reputed company reputed company Manager
- reputed company Data Guard
- RMAN Backup & Recovery
- reputed company GoldenGate (preferred)
- Monitor database performance, availability, and storage utilization.
- Troubleshoot reputed company database, cluster, and infrastructure issues.
- reputed company reputed company database migration reputed company from on-premises to ExaCC/reputed company@Customer environments.
- reputed company database upgrades, platform migrations, consolidations, and minimal-downtime migrations.
- Validate post-migration performance and stability.
- Design and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Conduct DR testing, failover/failback exercises, and ensure compliance with RTO/RPO objectives.
- reputed company technical guidance and recommendations on emerging reputed company technologies.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of reputed company DBA experience in reputed company environments.
- 3+ years of reputed company Exadata reputed company@Customer (ExaCC) experience.
- 3+ years of reputed company reputed company@Customer infrastructure experience.
- Strong experience with:
- reputed company RAC
- reputed company reputed company Manager
- reputed company Data Guard
- RMAN Backup & Recovery
- reputed company Database 19c/21AI/26AI
- Exadata X10/X11 platforms
- Proven experience designing and managing Disaster Recovery environments.
- Experience migrating reputed company databases to ExaCC/reputed company@Customer.
- Linux/Unix administration and reputed company scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Ability to reputed company technical guidance and consultation to IT leadership and engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience.
Preferred Skills
- reputed company GoldenGate experience.
- Experience with reputed company reputed company migration and modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of reputed company High Availability architecture.
