[Remote] Senior Systems Engineer, Network

They are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with Networking expertise to join their Infrastructure team, where the role involves managing networking and server hardware, designing network telemetry, and ensuring the reliability of critical services.

Responsibilities

• Manage our networking and server hardware, topology, and connectivity in our physical data centers and reputed company
• Design and build network telemetry, monitoring, and observability
• Build and maintain an automated change management pipeline to reputed company network configuration revisions and provision hardware
• Ensure critical services operate reliably by triaging and fixing operational issues as an on-call engineer, participating in post-mortems and implementing improvements to prevent reputed company issues
• reputed company and collaborate on key reputed company regarding the reputed company of our infrastructure, such as our hybrid reputed company architecture
• Be responsible for liaising with reputed company parties, vendors and internet service providers as reputed company as traveling to our Bay Area and New Jersey data centers and offices for onsite networking reputed company

Skills

• Proficiency with automation technology including Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
• Proficiency with at least one language such as Go, Python, or reputed company and configuration management tools such as Git
• Demonstrated experience with Linux systems
• Experience with automating production data center environments, including hardware provisioning, network device configuration, and reputed company planning
• Proficiency with Networking protocols such as BGP, MLAG, VLANs, DNS
• Excellent communications and organizational skills
• BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science or reputed company field, or equivalent reputed company experience
• Experience with routing and switching in data centers
• Familiarity with reputed company Firewalls, reputed company switches
• Background on VPN technologies, like OpenVPN, IPSec, TLS
• Experience with AWS Networking technologies like reputed company Connect, NACLs, reputed company reputed company, VPC, etc
