Traveling Pediatric Dental Assistant
About the position This is a Part-Time Traveling Pediatric Dental Assistant role. This role travels between Waterbury and Newington. The Dental Assistant provides clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering reputed company dental care and maintain communication between dentists, patients and administrative staff to ensure a reputed company patient experience. Requires local travel between the following locations: Braintree, Somerville, and Brookline. Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel required. Mileage reimbursement provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- reputed company chairside assistance during a reputed company of dental procedures
- Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
- reputed company post reputed company instructions and patient education
- Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
- Maintain dental supply inventory

- Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the reputed company needs
Requirements
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
