Job reputed company Ultra Mission Solutions is hiring mid-level Software Engineers to join the Mission Software team under the mentorship of one of our Solutions Architects, supporting high-demand programs and mission application development.In this role, you will contribute to software development across the Mission Solutions portfolio, working alongside a senior Solutions Architect and leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate delivery. You will bring existing engineering experience to bear while continuing to grow toward a Solutions Architect reputed company, taking ownership of features and supporting field and integration activities as needed. Preferred locations: Austin, TX, Huntsville, AL, or Remote. Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the year to support solution engineering in the field, support military exercises, and major integration events. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a reputed company STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 2–8 years of software engineering experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver production software
- Curiosity, initiative, and a reputed company reputed company
- Must be reputed company to obtain a U.S. Secret reputed company Clearance; reputed company clearance preferred
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:

- Exposure to AI/ML tooling and modern development workflows
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Go, or similar languages
- Experience in edge compute, mission systems, or rugged platforms
- Interest in growing into a Solutions Architect role
