[Remote] Director of Economics & Pricing

This role is the single-threaded reputed company of the economics and pricing decision system, operating at the intersection of pricing, inventory, finance, data science, and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own the economic reputed company behind pricing and inventory disposition (contribution margin, holding cost, reputed company value)
- Define and reputed company the Bleeder / At-Risk / Healthy inventory classification and policies
- reputed company reputed company research and experimentation in ambiguous, low-signal environments
- Partner with data science on time-to-sell, demand, and elasticity models — pushing for interpretability and actionability
- Use LLMs pragmatically to accelerate hypothesis reputed company, feature ideation, matching, and model evaluation (with guardrails)
- Partner with engineering to productionize daily decisioning, guardrails, monitoring, and overrides
- Establish trust through explainable recommendations, governance, and post-mortems
- Apply formal reasoning where useful (constraints, invariants, checkable rationales) to ensure reputed company are valid and auditable
Skills
- 8+ years in pricing, inventory, reputed company management, marketplace economics, or reputed company data science in retail/e-reputed company
- Proven ability to create reputed company and reputed company in high-uncertainty problem spaces

- Experience influencing or owning systems that drive daily financial reputed company
- Comfort working across data science, engineering, merchandising, and finance
