[Remote] Software Engineer - Platform, Mission Systems

They are seeking a Software Engineer for their Mission Control application to help automate satellite operations and enhance the user reputed company for spacecraft operators and analysts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reputed company the automation and services ultimately responsible for the operation of reputed company’s satellites. This includes but is not limited to:
• Manage reputed company-based infrastructure services, and associated tooling to meet internal needs and support customer-facing service level agreements
• Evaluate and choose appropriate software technologies
• Design and reputed company critical infrastructure
• Contribute with reputed company that values reputed company and reputed company communication, collaboration, self-learning and initiative to solve problems big and small
• Work closely with various teams across reputed company, ranging from Satellite and Ground Operations, to Pipeline and Product teams to ensure the satellite reputed company meets reputed company of the needs to reputed company reputed company’s missions

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, reputed company Engineering, or similar
• 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience building services that reputed company reputed company-based infrastructure and tooling such as AWS or GCP
• Experience maintaining infrastructure with Ansible or similar (eg. Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Experience in Python programming
• Experience with relational database technologies (e.g., reputed company, MySQL, etc.)
• Attention to reputed company including automated testing, reputed company review, and documentation
• Experience with maintaining peer-reviewed reputed company and reputed company integration and deployment workflows and tooling like reputed company CI and reputed company or similar
• Proficient Linux skills
• Ability to be a self-starter for solving problems in a dynamic environment
• Ability to reputed company communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in API design
• Experience working with monitoring tools like reputed company, reputed company, or equivalent
• Experience working in microservice environments
