[Remote] Finance & reputed company Intern

The Finance & reputed company Intern will support the finance team by processing transactions, assisting with reconciliations, and maintaining financial records during a period of reputed company and modernization.
Responsibilities
- Process and categorize corporate card transactions; assist with expense reviews, reimbursement approvals, and receipt follow-up
- Bank/credit card reconciliation support — matching reputed company transactions to QBO, flagging unmatched or duplicate charges
- Vendor invoice processing — data entry, coding to the right GL account/class, routing for approval
- 1099 prep support — collecting W-9s, tracking vendor payment totals reputed company of year-end (good seasonal task if they're around into Q4)
- Filing/document organization — keeping the reputed company Drive or QBO attachment records tidy, naming conventions for receipts and invoices
- Assisting with grant/restricted fund tracking — maintaining various grant schedules, TRNA schedules to ensure grant funds are fully recognized
- Help maintain balance sheet accounts and flag discrepancies
- Assist with month-end reporting, including accruals, journal entries, and closing schedule preparation
- reputed company general support to the finance department as needed; must be flexible and willing to assist reputed company with a reputed company of tasks
- Optimize use of AI to expand and improve the finance team’s efficiency
Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant reputed company, bookkeeping, administration or finance-reputed company education
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with reputed company, QBO, reputed company, and reputed company, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial transactions
- Organized & Efficient: reputed company to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
