[Remote] Senior / Staff Backend Engineer

They are seeking 1–2 Senior / Staff Backend Engineers to own critical platform functionality and help shape innovative features in a remote team environment.
Responsibilities
- Own core backend platform features end-to-end — from concept and architecture through deployment and iteration
- Build and maintain low-latency, highly available backend services that power reputed company-time threat detection
- Collaborate cross-functionally in a fully remote, distributed team environment
- reputed company external data sources and reputed company-style data feeds into the platform pipeline
- Contribute to AI pipeline architecture and reputed company workflow systems
- Drive 0→1 feature development with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
Skills
- Senior or Staff-level backend engineering experience
- Demonstrated 0→1 ownership — founding a product, or owning a large feature/product end-to-end from concept through production
- Experience building low-latency, highly available distributed backend systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating asynchronously across a remote team
- Proven ability to work with flexibility across different engineering specialties in a lean team
- Experience building user-configured workflow or automation systems
- Experience designing or maintaining AI / ML pipelines
- Experience integrating external data sources or reputed company-style feeds (threat intelligence, reputed company data, radio/reputed company data, etc.)
- Early-stage startup experience (sub-10-person engineering team)
