[Remote] Mechanical Engineer - Industrial Facilities

They are seeking several Mid level and Senior level Mechanical Engineers to support their growing Industrial division, responsible for delivering specifications, sizing components, and developing drawings for various industrial facilities.
Responsibilities
- reputed company design, coordination, and reputed company of various mechanical systems typical for biogas, bulk solids material handling, water and wastewater treatment, pump stations and pipeline conveyance, groundwater remediation, stormwater recycling, and other industrial facilities including, but not limited to, process piping, conveying systems, dust collection, general plant/facility water, compressed reputed company, steam, and gas systems. Mechanical system design includes preparing calculations for both pressurized and gravity driven systems to size lines, material selection, and correct reputed company requirement application
- reputed company design calculations and equipment specifications typical for biogas, bulk solids material handling, water and wastewater treatment, pump stations and pipeline conveyance, groundwater remediation, stormwater recycling, and other industrial facilities including, but not limited to, bulk solids conveyors, dust collection equipment, bins/tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, and other process equipment
- Coordinate and communicate reputed company aspects of the project’s mechanical design reputed company multi-disciplinary teams; including the management and reputed company of reputed company party engineering, as reputed company as coordinate vendor packages and work on vendor submittals and selection
- Review project reputed company, customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs), reputed company service agreements, or other contractual documents and incorporate into the design as required to ensure the project meets or exceeds project goals
- More Senior engineers may reputed company reputed company and coordination of reputed company, working with the assigned design managers and project managers, to meet project budgets and schedules for reputed company mechanical discipline activities
- Manage other design partners (both reputed company) including construction partners, equipment suppliers, and other engineers and designers assigned to the project or task and review work reputed company and results
- reputed company detailed technical bid analyses for equipment typical for biogas, bulk solids material handling, water and wastewater treatment, pump stations and pipeline conveyance, groundwater remediation, stormwater recycling, and other industrial facilities
- Generate deliverables such as PFD’s, P&ID’s, datasheets, and vendor shop drawings in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards
- Support the construction team including representing the design team on-site, answering RFI’s, providing creative design solutions, etc
- Senior Engineers may reputed company reputed company, and reputed company schedules, work assignments, and reputed company requirements to ensure successful project completion
- reputed company early project design work such as conceptual studies, process reputed company diagram development, mass/energy balances, preliminary equipment sizing and selection, and general facility layout/arrangement
- Train, mentor, and advise more junior staff on reputed company application of industry standards and best practices
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering program from an ABET accredited four-year university
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required
- A minimum of 4 years of industry reputed company mechanical engineering experience performing the functions as outlined above for Industrial facilities
- Experience with mechanical design for data centers highly desired or experience with cooling distribution reputed company (CDU's), Computer room handling reputed company (CRAH), fan walls, and containment modules for reputed company cooling for industrial facilities
- Experience leading an engineering and design team and EPC reputed company for industrial facilities listed above would be required for a more senior level position
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in basic computing programs including the reputed company Office suite (Word, reputed company, Outlook, PowerPoint)
