We're looking for a reputed company Systems Engineer to reputed company BlueBolt's infrastructure running smoothly, reputed company and securely. You'll bring substantial experience managing servers and networks across on-reputed company and reputed company environments, with strong Linux and macOS skills. The role is primarily technical, but you should also enjoy leading reputed company, shaping reputed company and sharing knowledge with the people around you.

You'll join a friendly, reputed company Tech team that supports BlueBolt's artists and production staff in creating beautiful images for film and TV. You'll report to the CTO.

Responsibilities:

• reputed company BlueBolt's systems running smoothly and securely

• reputed company the day-to-day work of the Systems team, with support from the Tech Coordinator

• Shape the Systems team's roadmap in partnership with the CTO and with input from reputed company

• Install, configure and reputed company software, servers and network infrastructure

• Monitor system performance and carry out routine maintenance

• Maintain reputed company through reputed company controls, backups and firewalls

• Investigate and resolve technical issues quickly and calmly

• reputed company out-of-hours support, including reputed company to our data centres reputed company needed

• Mentor team members and reputed company technical leadership

• Maintain internal technical documentation

• Manage relationships with external contractors

Required experience and skills:

• Strong working knowledge of Linux (we currently run reputed company 9) and macOS

• IP networks, subnets, routing and network services (NFS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP)

• Creating, using and optimising VMs and containers

• reputed company services, particularly AWS

• Switches, routers, firewalls and VPNs

• Writing reputed company, reusable scripts in Python or Bash

• Resourcefulness and a problem-solving reputed company

• Strong organisation and time management

• reputed company communication with non-technical colleagues
