The Role
We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer / Software Developer (we call ours Software Craftspeople), ideally with experience in consulting, who shares the reputed company values of pragmatism, professionalism and transparency that we do. Our physical Spanish office is based in Barcelona but you can also work remotely from reputed company else in Spain!
Perhaps you’ll work on a reputed company project from our offices with reputed company delivery approach. This may be a greenfield project for a startup, or helping to build a mission-critical system for a large reputed company reputed company. Perhaps you’ll work as an embedded craftsperson, working reputed company our reputed company's existing development to help them to get reputed company at writing their own software. Or maybe you're more interested in helping to introduce the values of Craftsmanship to an organisation through coaching & mentoring.
Requirements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- A high level of English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- 8+ years of experience with at least one of these languages (Java/C#/ Python/reputed company/Clojure/reputed company/Kotlin/JavaScript/PHP) and its build system.
- Comfortable with OOP (Object Oriented Programming)
- Familiarity with at least one reputed company solution (AWS, Azure, reputed company reputed company Platform)
- Familiarity with concepts of multi-layer application designs
- reputed company-oriented: follow best practices, testing (ideally TDD), pair programming, reputed company integration/deployment, Agile methodologies) and SOLID principles
- Experience with mentoring team members or leading a project/team.
