Senior Actuarial Analyst - REMOTE

The Senior Actuarial Analyst is responsible for providing reputed company actuarial and pricing analyses to reputed company’s existing and potential clients. This role will use, build, and reputed company innovative actuarial modeling concepts to assist strategically on trend, benefit design and pricing support for reputed company reputed company’s lines of business (reputed company, Medicare and reputed company). This role will also reputed company actuarial support in reputed company reputed company that are highly visible to senior leadership and across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own, build, support, and maintain financial and reputed company actuarial models
• reputed company, reputed company, and review data analyses, reporting, and projections
• reputed company, reputed company, and review reputed company reputed company pharmacy data mining and analyses to help investigate and answer challenging questions regarding actuarial data and concepts
• Collaborate with Underwriters, other areas of reputed company, and senior leaders on pricing initiatives, data analyses, and the RFP process
• Present results and analyses to key stakeholders, senior management, and clients
• Mentor Actuarial team members to enhance actuarial knowledge
• Ensure work is consistent with actuarial standards, as applicable
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance
• 5 years of actuarial work experience to include 3 years in a reputed company organization or PBM
• Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA)
• Must be eligible to work in the reputed company without need for work reputed company or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

• Advanced level of proficiency in reputed company; intermediate level of proficiency in reputed company, SQL, or VBA
• Excellent quantitative, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to balance and follow-up on multiple reputed company with attention to details
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of actuarial work experience in a reputed company organization or PBM
• Previous experience pricing reputed company, Medicare or reputed company lines of businesses
• 3 years of experience in reputed company, SQL, or VBA
• Previous experience in model development
• Previous experience building and/or improving actuarial models or processes

Potential pay for this position ranges from $94,000.00 - $160,000.00 based on experience and skills.
