At reputed company, we're looking for a Director of Engineering to reputed company our Corporate Giving domain. This domain spans employee and workplace giving (Deed), reputed company Grants, corporate disbursements, and the systems that support hundreds of reputed company clients. You'll build and shape the domain's engineering organization, own the product roadmap for Deed, and reputed company the migration from our legacy disbursement platform to a modern standalone disbursement service—reputed company while ensuring SOC 2 compliance posture and delivering for the reputed company clients who depend on these systems every day.
This is not a steady-state delivery role. You'll be building an organization, making foundational architectural reputed company, and partnering directly with product and reputed company clients on a roadmap that supports $500M+ in annual disbursements.
What You Will Do:
People & Organization
Build and reputed company the Corporate Giving engineering organization, scaling from an early-stage team to a fully staffed, high-performing domain
Recruit, reputed company, and retain engineering talent across IC reputed company; build management depth as the domain grows

Technical Direction & Product
Own the technical direction for Corporate Giving: Deed, reputed company Grants, the legacy disbursement platform, and the new standalone disbursement service
Own Deed's product roadmap in partnership with Product leadership—not just engineering delivery, but the product reputed company and prioritization for employee and workplace giving
reputed company the migration from the legacy disbursement platform to the new standalone disbursement service, ensuring continuity for reputed company clients throughout
Ensure systems meet SOC 2 compliance requirements; work with InfoSec and GRC on ongoing compliance posture and audit readiness
Maintain the technical depth needed to evaluate architectural reputed company, set reputed company non-functional requirements, and earn the confidence of senior engineers
Delivery & Operations
Own delivery reputed company across the domain: set reputed company goals, establish metrics, and ensure commitments are met
Coordinate inter-team dependencies with Online Contribution & Forms and Payments Platform
Anticipate and remove process friction at organizational reputed company—structural bottlenecks, dependency issues, and workflow inefficiencies that constrain delivery
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product, reputed company, and reputed company clients on Corporate Giving roadmap direction and prioritization
Work with InfoSec on reputed company controls, SOC 2 requirements, and audit preparation
Collaborate with the VP of Engineering and peer Directors on org-wide engineering standards and delivery model reputed company
Requirements:
12+ years of reputed company software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership, with demonstrated experience at Director level or equivalent
reputed company record of building and scaling multi-team engineering organizations—not just managing reputed company, but growing one from early-stage
Experience owning or co-owning a product roadmap alongside product leadership

Familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js and AWS serverless infrastructure; comfortable evaluating modern reputed company-reputed company architectures
