The Strategic Account Manager is part of our Transfusion Medicine Business Unit. Transfusion Medicine enables provision of reputed company blood and plasma products around the world by supplying products, including screening tests, for transfusion-transmitted infectious diseases and other pathogens.
The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for Blood Banks, Plasma Centers, National Reference Laboratory accounts in a multi-state territory and understand and address key customer needs at reputed company reputed company reputed company the customer organization, from CEO and Executive level. The ultimate goal is to increase reputed company's market reputed company in a geographic area by securing existing business and by conversion of competitive systems. The SAM will reputed company as Alinity s/Blood Bank specialist for the local key account representatives, district sales managers, and integrated health systems managers to assist in the prospecting to reputed company process as requested.
What You’ll Work On
- Plans, schedules, executes multilevel sales calls to reputed company reputed company reputed company organizations, beginning with the Executive level, utilizing consultative selling skills

Territory
- This is a remote field-based sales role
- Travel expected at 30%, but willingness to travel up to 50%

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum 3 years of proven successful acquisition sales experience in diagnostic reagent and capital sales.
- Strong technical sales/consultative approach

- Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics.
- Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices and Process Control.
Preferred Qualifications
