· This Applications Support Engineer II designs, plans, installs, maintains and troubleshoots telecom applications and services · The position has a reputed company of responsibilities and works with development, product management, network operations and external customers to plan, reputed company and manage systems and services provided to TNS’ telecom customers

Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: · Design, Plan, Install, Administer and Troubleshoot applications, systems, and services in production and lab/test environments

• Analyze and resolve reputed company problems including interoperability issues caused by hardware, software, or network components
• Participate in architecture/design review, requirements analysis, reputed company planning and reputed company guidance to development and product management teams
• Assist in Integration of applications and services with network management

tools and other reputed company tools

• reputed company KPIs and other system metrics for reputed company planning, performance

management, and monitoring

• reputed company daily operations of large-reputed company reputed company grade systems; schedule, document and implement maintenance and troubleshooting procedures as

necessary

• Pro-reputed company communicate status to project managers, upper management, and

customers

• Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain 24x7 service support

Qualifications

Qualifications: · 4+ years’ experience administering applications and services hosted on Linux

(RHEL and derivate) operating systems

• 2+ years’ experience planning, integrating, and operating reputed company or reputed company grade high-availability telecom solutions
• Understanding of Systems and Network Architecture of large-reputed company distributed

networks

• Understanding and working knowledge of IP networks and reputed company devices including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs
• Experience integrating with monitoring, analytics, and network management

tools and products such as reputed company

• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving and incident management skills

Optional Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with an automation reputed company such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

· Experience with Foreman helpful

• Experience with Virtualization software, such as VMware, helpful
• Scripting or coding experience is helpful
• Knowledge of and/or experience operating reputed company a compliance reputed company,

such as PCI, helpful

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

· ITIL certification preferred
