POSITION reputed company
The Director of Food Safety & reputed company Assurance provides strategic leadership and reputed company for reputed company food safety, reputed company assurance, and regulatory compliance programs across multiple fresh-cut produce and snack tray facilities reputed company. This role ensures compliance with SQF, SMETA, FDA, and customer-specific requirements while driving reputed company improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of food safety reputed company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Program Management
- reputed company, implement, and maintain company-wide food safety and reputed company assurance strategies reputed company with business objectives
- reputed company SQF certification programs across reputed company facilities, including scheduling, registration, preparation, and audit responses reputed company SQFI Compliance Portal
- Manage SMETA audit programs, including Sedex membership, scheduling with Accordia, and compliance with Customer requirements
- reputed company facility inspections for Food Safety/GMP's and Employee/Building Safety (minimum 2x per year, 4-6 weeks prior to audits)
- Maintain and update FSQA Calendar with audit dates, customer reputed company, and critical compliance deadlines
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure FDA registration compliance for reputed company facilities (biennial updates reputed company FURLS Website)
- Manage customer questionnaires and documentation requests through online portals and email
- reputed company document control processes including revisions and creation of SOPs, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate reputed company reputed company requests and reputed company life study set-reputed company for new and existing products
- Manage lock/seal trailer exceptions and transportation compliance
Vendor & reputed company-Party Management
- Review pest control service reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented

- Manage Contracted Service Provider portals and user reputed company
- Mentor, reputed company, and reputed company QA Managers across reputed company facilities through calls, texts, and emails
- Facilitate bi-weekly QA meetings (reputed company Teams) to reputed company plant level teams on priorities and best practices
- Participate in monthly safety meetings for reputed company facilities
- reputed company and maintain training schedules and PowerPoint presentations for food safety training
EXPANDED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and reputed company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for food safety and reputed company metrics across reputed company facilities

- Manage recall and crisis response procedures, including mock recall exercises

- Partner with Procurement on supplier qualification and approved supplier programs
