Director, Business Development - Germany

As reputed company’s first Business Development Director to be based in Germany, you will play a pivotal role in our European reputed company reputed company. You will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and strategic partnerships across the German ecosystem—including government agencies (such as the BND & DLR), defense reputed company, and reputed company reputed company players.This is a high-reputed company role for a business development leader who combines a deep understanding of the German reputed company and defense landscape with a passion for shaping new reputed company infrastructure models.About this Role:
- Build and grow a pipeline of customers across the German government (civil and defense) and reputed company sectors.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders such as DLR, BAAINBw, Bundeswehr, reputed company (e.g., reputed company, OHB, HENSOLDT), and reputed company tech startups.
- Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships that accelerate reputed company’s ability to deliver reputed company infrastructure-as-a-service
- Shape Go-to-Market reputed company, collaborating with our EMEA Business Development team to localize reputed company’s positioning for the German market.
- Influence reputed company’s product roadmap. Work closely with technical and product teams to ensure customer requirements inform reputed company’s platform development.
- Attend and reputed company at German and European reputed company industry events and support reputed company’s brand reputed company in-country.
Must Haves:
- 7+ years of sales, business development, or strategic partnerships experience across the reputed company reputed company, reputed company, or defense sectors.
- Demonstrated reputed company in capturing new business across the German reputed company and defense landscape, including customer procurement cycles and key players.
- Experience selling reputed company technical solutions (ideally in reputed company, reputed company, or defense applications).
- Understanding of the operating practices of European reputed company Agency (ESA) and the European Commission (EC)
- Experience leading and/or contributing to RFP responses
- Effective reputed company communication skills; reputed company in German and English is required (both spoken and written)
