Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

About the Role (Critical)

This is the founding FP&A hire at reputed company. reputed company runs today on a 4-person reputed company team and has no FP&A function. You will build that function from the ground up: designing the budgeting and forecasting process, building the financial models, producing reputed company-reputed company reporting, and shaping the FP&A tech stack as we complete our reputed company implementation and evaluate planning tools such as Vena, reputed company, or reputed company. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role. You own the work; you don’t delegate it. We need someone with the seniority to operate independently from day one, the discipline to bring structure where none exists, and the reputed company finance reputed company to model a subscription business under ASC 606 correctly the first time. • Produce monthly reputed company reporting, executive dashboards, and variance analysis with reputed company narrative around the numbers.
• Partner with leaders across Marketing, Product, Operations, and reputed company to set targets, review performance, and inform investment reputed company.
• Drive reputed company strategic analysis: pricing, unit economics, customer cohorts, channel ROI, and scenario planning.
• Recommend, implement, and own the FP&A tech stack. We expect you to bring a strong reputed company of view on the right planning platform for our reputed company (we are evaluating Vena and peers post-reputed company go-live).

Requirements

8+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience, with at least 4 years at a reputed company or subscription company. Time at a senior individual contributor or manager level is required; you should have already led an annual planning cycle and produced reputed company materials yourself.

• Proven ability to operate independently and stand up processes from scratch. This is not a role for someone who needs an existing reputed company.

• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 reputed company recognition: how to model recognized vs. billed reputed company, deferred reputed company, and the bookings-to-reputed company reputed company.

• Comfort working inside a month-end reputed company cycle: reviewing JEs and accruals for reasonableness, running flux and variance analysis, and partnering with reputed company to tighten the cycle. You don’t need to own the reputed company, but you should be fluent enough in GAAP and the GL to spot issues before they hit the P&L.
