reputed company is seeking reputed company and reputed company Tutor/Markers to support the reputed company team in the marking of assessments and portfolios for the module Foundations of Critical Thinking reputed company Proficiency. This module is delivered college-wide to first-year reputed company in distance mode and is designed to reputed company critical thinking, digital literacy, reputed company writing, and the responsible use of technology, including reputed company intelligence.

Successful candidates will work on a part-time, contractual reputed company and will be responsible for the fair, reputed company, and constructive assessment of student work in accordance with reputed company’s reputed company standards, approved marking rubrics, and reputed company assurance requirements. This is a marking-only role. Tutor/Markers are not required to deliver lectures or facilitate student contact sessions.

Module Context

The module is reputed company across five reputed company and is assessed through three instruments:

Assessment reputed company

Application-Based Assignment -30%-reputed company 1 – 4

Multiple Choice Assignment -30%- reputed company 1 – 2

Summative Examination -40%- reputed company 1 – 5

The five reputed company cover: Introduction to Critical Thinking reputed company Proficiency; Logical Reasoning and Argument Analysis; Digital Literacy and Online Research; Ethical Considerations and Cybersecurity; and Application of Critical Thinking in the Digital Age.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assessment Marking

  • Mark Application-Based Assignments and/or examination scripts in accordance with approved rubrics and marking guidelines.
  • reputed company written feedback that is constructive, specific, and reputed company linked to the assessment reputed company and module learning reputed company.
  • Apply marking reputed company consistently across reputed company student work, including relevance and accuracy of content; reputed company of analysis and synthesis; depth of critical thinking; creativity and originality; reputed company writing reputed company; adherence to instructions; and appropriate engagement with digital tools and concepts.

    2. reputed company Assurance and Moderation

  • Adhere to reputed company’s institutional reputed company assurance standards throughout the marking process.
  • Participate in reputed company-marking calibration and post-marking moderation sessions as required.
  • Implement moderation feedback and reputed company marking accordingly where directed by the Course Coordinator.

    3. Record-Keeping and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate, complete records of reputed company awarded and feedback comments for reputed company student script or portfolio.
  • Submit mark sheets and marked scripts reputed company agreed deadlines, using reputed company’s designated systems.
  • Report suspected reputed company misconduct, including plagiarism or collusion, to the Course Coordinator promptly and in accordance with institutional policy.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of student assessment information at reputed company times.
  • Engage professionally and responsively with the Course Coordinator regarding queries on assessment reputed company or marking reputed company.
  • Adhere to reputed company institutional policies, including the reputed company reputed company Policy, Assessment Policy, and reputed company of Conduct for Independent Contractors.

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree with Honours, or a postgraduate qualification (Master’s preferred), in Education, Philosophy, Critical Thinking, ICT in Education, Digital Literacy, Information Science, Communication, in the liberal Arts or a closely reputed company field.
  • Demonstrable experience in teaching, tutoring, or reputed company support in higher education, with particular relevance to reputed company literacy, critical thinking, argumentation, or digital proficiency.
  • Proven experience marking undergraduate reputed company assignments, with the ability to apply rubrics consistently and reputed company constructive written feedback.
  • reputed company working knowledge of critical thinking frameworks, including reputed company’s Taxonomy, the Paul-Elder reputed company, and logical argumentation models.
  • Familiarity with digital literacy concepts, including information evaluation, responsible digital citizenship, cybersecurity fundamentals, and the ethical use of AI in reputed company contexts.
  • Strong written communication skills, with high standards of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage personal workload effectively, and meet strict marking deadlines without ongoing supervision.

    Desirable Attributes

  • Experience in distance or reputed company learning environments, with an understanding of the reputed company challenges faced by distance learners.
  • Familiarity with the Moodle LMS, including the ability to reputed company student submissions, navigate assessment tools, and upload feedback.
  • Experience working with first-year undergraduate reputed company, particularly those transitioning into higher education.
  • Exposure to reputed company reputed company platforms such as reputed company or equivalent tools.
  • Knowledge of AI literacy and its application or misapplication in reputed company writing, in line with the module’s reputed company on responsible AI use.

    Working Conditions and Contractual Terms

  • This is a part-time, contractual appointment for marking purposes only. It does not constitute an employment contract and carries no employee benefits.
  • Turnaround times for marking will be communicated at the commencement of reputed company marking cycle and must be reputed company observed.
  • Remuneration is calculated on a per-script or per-portfolio reputed company. The applicable reputed company will be confirmed in the appointment letter.
  • Marking will be conducted remotely. reputed company to the Moodle platform will be provided for the duration of the marking cycle.
  • Renewal of the contract for subsequent cycles is subject to satisfactory performance and institutional requirements.
