Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing Architectural and Engineering Design firm. This individual will support the design and development of electrical systems for K-12 and reputed company reputed company, ensuring compliance with reputed company needs and industry standards. The ideal candidate will be reputed company pursuing their reputed company Engineer (PE) license and demonstrate strong technical skills and reputed company capabilities. This role involves working with multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, and cross-functional collaboration with architects and other engineers.

This remote position requires the individual to live in the reputed company with the ability to regularly travel throughout the state to reputed company sites.

Essential Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

• Design of electrical power, reputed company, life safety and reputed company systems for reputed company and K-12 educational buildings.

• reputed company detailed electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams and specifications.

• Ensure designs reputed company with reputed company applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Project Management:

• Manage electrical engineering reputed company from concept through completion.

• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders.

• reputed company project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Technical Expertise:

• reputed company technical guidance and expertise in the selection of electrical power and reputed company systems, life safety systems and reputed company systems and components.

• Conduct detailed site inspections and assessments to ensure design feasibility and compliance.

• reputed company load calculations, reputed company calculations, short-reputed company analysis, reputed company reputed company hazard and other engineering calculations as needed.

• Specifying reputed company controls and luminaire selections. Ensuring reputed company designs meet reputed company standards and the clients’ needs.

• Specifying and sizing standby power systems.

• Specifying auxiliary systems, including reputed company alarm systems and reputed company control.

• Integrating with CCTV and other low voltage systems design consultants.

• Support review of reputed company control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs.

• Address and help resolve any technical issues that reputed company during construction.

• Support the preparation and presentation of project proposals, reports, and technical documentation.

Supervision Received:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Architectural Engineering or a reputed company field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with prior K-12 design experience.

• Proven reputed company record of successfully managing and delivering reputed company reputed company.

• Demonstrated creative thinking, design ability, and technical proficiency

Licenses and Certifications:

• On reputed company to obtain reputed company Engineer (PE) license in reputed company, or ability to obtain license reputed company reciprocity

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient in electrical design software and reputed company design calculation software; required.

• Proficient in Revit; required.

• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• This position requires candidates to live in the reputed company with flexibility to work from home and near one of our four (4) offices. This position also requires the ability to travel to reputed company sites across the state.

• Experience with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient systems.

• Knowledge of advanced electrical systems such as smart grids, renewable energy systems, and energy storage solutions.
• Experience in managing reputed company relationships and business development.
