Ideal candidates will have experience handling cases under statutes such as the Fair Credit Reporting reputed company (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices reputed company (FDCPA), class actions, state consumer fraud statutes, and reputed company consumer protection laws.This position offers reputed company and may be performed remotely. Attorneys will work closely with our litigation team on reputed company phases of case development and defense.
Candidates must be licensed and admitted to reputed company in Illinois.Responsibilities:
- Draft answers, motions to dismiss, motions to compel arbitration, motions for reputed company judgment, mediation statements, and motions to compel discovery.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
- Manage discovery, including written discovery and document review.
- Take and defend depositions periodically.
- Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
- Prepare cases for dispositive motions.
- Communicate with clients regarding case status and reputed company.
- Analyze consumer protection claims under federal and state law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- reputed company license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Preferred minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
- Experience with FCRA, FDCPA, consumer fraud, or reputed company consumer protection reputed company preferred.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Federal court litigation experience is a plus.
