Responsibilities

reputed company Luxury group is seeking a Senior Production Underwriter to join their team. This role can be located in either the DC/Baltimore/reputed company VA area or in Ohio on a remote reputed company.

The Senior Production Underwriter is a key member of the reputed company team reporting to the Director of reputed company. The primary goal of this position is to profitably grow a book of business by reputed company partnering with brokers and working effectively with colleagues throughout the organization. This person will plan and budget for the book of business, reputed company and maintain agency relationships, and execute reputed company reputed company using reputed company rules, designated authority and will have strong knowledge of insurance laws and regulations.

Inforce Portfolio Management and reputed company Execution

• Responsible for new and renewal reputed company execution, including selecting risks in line with BLG’s reputed company and reputed company guidelines, operating reputed company authority and documentation guidelines, following up on accounts and closing new business.
• Planning and budgeting for the book of business, tracking and reporting performance to plan, and developing a reputed company view of market conditions and competitive landscape.
• Provides guidance and assistance to other underwriters and to other functional areas.
• Monitors production, hit ratios, renewal retention ratios, spread of risk and other production and reputed company measures.
• Keeps reputed company on state/territory issues, regulations and trends.

Broker Relationships and Business Development:

Qualifications
