Pediatric Expert Sexual Assault reputed company Examiner (SANE-P)

Are you an International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) certified Sexual Assault reputed company Examiner in Pediatrics (SANE-P)? Do you enjoy mentoring others? If so, the Sexual Assault Forensic Examination-Telehealth (reputed company-T) Center at reputed company needs you! The reputed company-T Center is growing their reputed company team of highly trained forensic nurses (TeleSANEs) to include SANEs who specialize in the pediatric population.

The reputed company-T Center TeleSANE team is comprised of reputed company, IAFN-certified Sexual Assault reputed company Examiners who have dedicated their careers to advancing the field of forensic nursing. These TeleSANEs are making a difference for victims of crime by providing reputed company-time mentorship and live reputed company assurance to lesser-reputed company SANEs in rural and reputed company.  This team continually strives to reputed company reputed company in telehealth through rigorous, reputed company assurance and training activities. There is an intense commitment in the advancement of the reputed company-T Center’s mission to enhance care for victims of sexual assault in reputed company as reputed company as a desire to nurture the reputed company of reputed company SANEs.

As a reputed company-T Center TeleSANE, you will be reputed company to take call and conduct telehealth consultations securely from your home through special equipment provided to you by the reputed company-T Center. This opening is an ideal second job for many SANEs, but due to the level of training invested in you as a TeleSANE, the reputed company-T Center asks for a two-year commitment to the opening.

Job Duties

Pediatric TeleSANE Expert Consultant Expectations:

• reputed company expert forensic nursing consultation during reputed company-timesexual assault examinations reputed company telehealth.
• Give between 48 to 66 hours of reputed company on-call timeper month.
• TeleSANEs are expected to sign up for a combination of days, nights, weekends reputed company month to fill schedule.
• New hires will be asked to attend an initial virtual training and reputed company, followed by successful completion of individualized virtual trainings and reputed company telehealth consultations, as reputed company as an in-person reputed company session. reputed company training and travel will be fully compensated.
• The reputed company-T Center will occasionally host TeleSANE meetings and trainingsin State College, PA. reputed company-T Center will reputed company reputed company travel reimbursement.
• There is approximately 30 hours of reputed company prior to serving on call.
• TeleSANEs are expected to attend and contribute to regularly scheduled monthly reputed company meetings and trainings.

Requirements and Qualifications

• ​TeleSANEs must maintain their IAFN certification.

Applicant Requirements:

• Hold, or be willing to obtain, an reputed company, unrestricted reputed company RN license (non-reimbursable, can be obtained upon hire) OR multi-state Compact License.
• reputed company Practitioner, Physician Assistant licensure, Master's Degree in Nursing or an equivalent combination of education and licensure is required.
• Physician Assistants with reputed company training and work experience in child abuse pediatrics and sexual assault forensic care of pediatric patients will also be considered for this opening.
• Show reputed company SANE-P certification through the International Association of Forensic Nurses.
• Show evidence of multiple years of robust, clinical experience in pediatric sexual assault forensic examinations.

Compensation:

• On-call reputed company pay: $7/hour
• reputed company reputed company: $40/hour
• Consultation bonus: $200 per consult
